Excursions to Capri, Procida and Ventotene

Capri and Procida are the islands closest to Ischia. Further away, there is the island of Ventotene. Of these three islands, the easiest to reach is Procida, a 10 minute trip by hydrofoil or ferry boat. There are frequent departures since many runs from Naples  also stop off at Procida.
Departing from Ischia, you can go to Capri only between Easter and the month of September. In Winter crossings are suspended. The companies operating crossing between Ischia and Capri are:

Generally there is one crossing per day with departure in the morning and return trip in the afternoon. Travel to the island of Ventotene is more difficult, with links only during the summer with the Alilauro company.  Naturally, these islands can also be reached by hiring a private boat with or without captain. At the island ports, you cam find numerous agencies for boat hire.
